Linking up with Like Mother, Like Daughter.
We have moved and all is well. The master bedroom was the first to be tamed. I set up my study corner with a vintage quilt. St. Joseph stands quietly, our hopefully future dream home on the suitcase behind him.
The anniversary counter was hung, along with the other filet crochet, in the living room windows. We are going sans curtains. I like it. It will be much easier to stay dust free with a vacuum cleaner.
I wasn't sure where the Divine Infant would end up, but it turned out the top of the kitchen cabinets was the perfect place.
I have a whole pile of devotional items that will be stored, for now. Some may even be donated or sold in favor of 'less is more.' More praying, fewer things. We're even going without a 'real' dining room table in favor of having more space to live.
I've moved the home altar into the master bedroom. It's where we have held family devotions since the beginning, so I suppose it is the logical place if there is no dining room.
